Lowpoly Blacksmith

I made this lowpoly Blacksmith as my first real prop in Maya.

The challenging part of this assignment was keeping the triangle count at a maximum of 550 triangles and the texture map at 128x128px.

Applications used - Autodesk Maya and Adobe Photoshop.

Palm Tree

During the time I was creating levels for Unreal Tournament 3 I always felt the lack of a decent palm tree prop.

Now that I finally had the 3D knowledge myself I was able to make one myself.

Applications used - Autodesk Maya, Adobe Photoshop and Crazybump (for generating normals.)

Portfolio - Modular House


Modular House

This piece was made by using reference photos of the house I was living in at the time.
Using these not only as reference but also as textures I would use to make it look authentic.

In order to maximize the utility of this project I divided the house into several different props. This allows me to use the same props to create different shapes and sizes of the house.

Applications used - Autodesk Maya, Adobe Photoshop and Crazybump (for generating normals.)

Triangles (entire building kit) - 4264 tris.

Textures - 2048x2048px Diffuse map, 1024x1024px Normal and Specular map.

Pirate Cave

This scene was made as the final assignment of the 3D modelling course at The Game Assembly.

I made a bunch of props to fit well into the theme of the scene which can be used for other projects.
The rock walls and the terrain however where made specifically for the scene and would be hard to utilize elsewhere.
