Zvonar is a 2.5D sidescrolling platform adventure game.
And is very similar to our reference game, Ori And the Blind Forest.
My Role - creating 2D layouts for all levels plus one additional which didn't end up in the final product.
Scripting all ingame events such as raising platforms when ringing a bell, spawning particles and other stuff ingame.
Set dressing 3 out of the 4 levels with props, lights and particles.
Coming up with a design for the boss and scripting it's behaviour.
Balancing the game (item placements, enemies, obstacles such as thorns.)
Creating a seamless tutorial where the player learns how to use all abilities and mechanics within the game.
Applications used - all levels are made in Unity 3D using assets created by the graphical artists.
Then exported as .xml to be read into our own engine.

Development time - 8 weeks.
Team - 2 level designers, 4 graphical artists and 4 programmers.
Gametype - 2.5D Platform Adventure.
Gametime - around 20-30 minutes.
Talents - 3 different talent trees where the player can choose to increase damage, range and number of targets.
Hidden Collectables - 3 hidden collectables in each level.
Scripted Events - Special events which changes the layout of the levels allowing the player to overcome obstacles.
Atmospherical Effects - Effects such as godrays, fireflies, dust and weather effects.
Sound Effects and Music - Custom made sound effects and music to go with the theme.
